This production company was born from a natural path of study and experimentation in sound language. It seemed inevitable and continues to find new ways to expand. Many partnerships along the way have contributed to a strong collaborative network that allows for team flexibility in terms of size, specialization, and compatibility with the project.
My name is João Gama, and I've been working as a location sound engineer and handling audio post-production for video since 2018. I've always been passionate about sound. I played and studied guitar for many years, which sparked my curiosity about recording and music production processes. This became the foundation of my knowledge, allowing me to delve into the world of audiovisual sound during my Advertising studies and contribute to numerous projects, whether as a sound director, handling recording, post-production, soundtrack, sound concept, or installations.
In 2023, I officially launched my work under the name Versom, a production company that has been around for a few years but is now taking the next step to enter new projects, discover new stories, and deliver high-quality audio.
